Hello World!~

Weekend was super exhausting. In short, we went to the Great Wall of China and Temple of Heaven on Friday and Fagrant Mountain(Xiang shan) on Saturday. Super tiring can!

Update on Week2 in Beijing

It's already week3. Time really flies. In a blink of eyes, 3 weeks flew past. I really enjoy my time in beijing. The friends i made are awesome bunch of people. (:

Alright, last weekend we went to birdnest(niaochao), the stadium that held the olympic openning and closing ceremony. We paid 50RMB for the entrance. Waste money only, you go in and see red chairs and a green field. wth! totally not worth it.

And i've done shopping for my friends, just a few more gifts to buy and the rest of the money will be for myself to spend. hehehe!

okay, due to the large amount of photos, hmmm, about 77photos after picking and choosing from the tons and tons of photos, i've decided to host them all in photobucket. so ya, enjoy and i'll update again next week! (:

It's been a tiring but fun week! I'm gonna chop chop finish typing this post. Having slight headache now. Just came back from lunch(12.50pm), we ate steamed dumplings. They tasted delicious!

So, we went to Forbbiden City and some ancient place on friday and Shopping at XiDan and Silk Street on Saturday. Spent about S$60plus(inclu. lunch & dinner) on Saturday.

Hello everyone!

I've arrived in Beijing, safe and sound. After the plane ride, i was rather unwell, in the sense that i had a little headache from hk to beijing.

It was a busy monday morning yesterday. What's worse? i forgot to bring my RMBs, and my parents had to rushhhhh home to get them for me. Obviously i got a serious scolding by my dad on the way to airport as i was already late. Well, but anyway, everything went well.

All and all, we actually reached beijing 30mins earlier than expected. We had both our breakfast & lunch on the plane yesterday. The food tasted normal, but we had Häagen-Dazs ice cream during lunch on the plane from Hk to Beijing.

We waited for Ms Yarny at the airport for about 30mins then we boarded to coach. Arrived at BiTC around 7plus in the evening. The most tiring event of yesterday, carrying my 20kg lagguage up to level 3. Crap! Well, we had some helpful guys helping us carry too! thanks guys! (:

Yanling and I sorted out abit of things then we headed down to wait for the rest before going to the supermart for awhile. After that, we had dinner. It was SUPER cheap. Each of us paid S$6 for about 8 dishes. We had PEKING DUCK! :D:D

Dinner ended around 9plus and we went back to hostel to unpack our things, shower, clean up and sleep.

Alright, it's getting rather wordy. I've not transfered the photos from my camera to my laptop. I'll upload photos from Canwen first. Photos time! (:

It's 3.25pm already. 35 more mins before rest time! yay!! after that we can go do some own things. so happy can! i'm gonna rest well today, for tomorrow will be a better day!! (:

before monday arrives

The tiptop scenery

Well, it's been quite sometime since i last updated. Although i am not very busy, and indeed quite free, i'm feeling really lazy to update. But i don't think i'll have the time to update anytime soon till my arrival in beijing. So, just before i fly off on monday, here's a tiny update with some photos. Yes, finally i'm willing to upload more than one photo.

As usual, i report to school every monday to friday for the boring fyp. Very tiring athough i've done nothing but facebook-ing and rotting. I've only done a little of the project, just here and there. No outings with lecture and class mates since our last pool session at hougang which was 2 weeks ago i think! Too tired to join them after school, thus i head home to rest every evening. Our group has taken half day off on friday to do some preparation before monday. In fact, i've gotten all the things i need, the half day is just for fun. haha! But well, i need to get my eyebrows trimmed, fringe trimmed, and a pair of ear piece for listening to mp3! These concerns MONEY$$. And i'm actually not proud to say that I'm broke again. This time is very serious. I swear. I'm going to start saving from now on. i'll keep my fingers cross about it.

Alright, enough about my boring weekdays. Over the weekends, my family and i spent a fruitful time together. On saturday my family and i went vivo city for lunch and to do a little bit of shopping for my Beijing trip. We headed to Suntec City for some grocery shopping at carrefour. Then we went over to Singapore flyer for a ride. It is definately not worth $29.90 for riding it. But well, it's a lifetime experience yet waste of money. Once is enough. The view is beautiful i should say, hmmm, maybe when the IR is done, the view will become fabulous! Thats not so soon.. We ate dinner at swissotel's kopi tiam. sounds cheap right, ya, fats hope! The dinner for 4 of us cost $107.70 . This is craziness! Well, parents say it's treat from them before i go beijing. Lovely parents i have. I seriously like that movie! and i overspent because i bought a skirt of my love(exaggerating) from M)phosis. Had fun though. (: That's all about my weekends. It's wednesday already! I can't wait for weekends and i can get angbaossss! (:

Alright, i think i've updated alot more than usuals. I'll try to update more when i'm in beijing. Hopefully i'll be less lazy so that i can "hao lian" to you all the fun i'm having there. haha. It's 3.10pm already. Guess how long i took to type out this post? (:
